This Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, is Buy Nothing Day. The sentiment behind it can unite Canadian Mennonites and American anarchists.

Kidding aside, I will be buying nothing on Black Friday. I have held a personal boycott of the commercialization of December for many years now.

=v= Buy Nothing Day is also the unofficial start of the Christmas Resistance Movement's Non-Shopping Season, which I suspect we'll hear more about in the days and weeks to come.
