Draft₂ (“Second Draft”), my writers group, established a minimum submission requirement. It’s very modest: three submissions a year (or equivalent — a novel satisfies a year’s requirement.)

I just submitted my first story of the year, the Prometheus retelling I mentioned before. I may have skimped a little on scene-setting toward the end. And, you know, characterization and literary merit.

But it resembles a story and it’s done.
