My apologies for the errors -- the only excuse I can give is that I was trying to listen and scribble my notes at the same time and obviously missed a few details.

As for the comment about the ignorance of the basic conventions of fiction, that was a quote from Spider Robinson, so take any disagreements to him, not me.
