How Are We Celebrating Earth Day?

According to the Onion’s poll :

9% — Swerving to avoid guy on recumbent bicycle

I appreciate it.

(Thanks, Geoff!)

=v= Not only did I not run over any guys on recumbent bicycles, but fliered a few recumbents to join TIME'S UP! on an Earth Day Bike Action -- a Critical Mass-style ride to Central Park. We did valet bike parking and has a table of literature. Some of us we wearing some anti-car pins that I'd designed for the occasion.

Transportation Alternatives did not have a table at Earth Day this year, but some plucky campaigners set up a guerilla petitioning station right across from us for their Car-Free Central Park Campaign.
