The machines are definitely extraordinary, but when I first saw this video last year, I was skeptical that they were actually driven by the wind. A little web searching revealed that they were actually driven by compressed air. The inventor had plans to build a compressor powered by a wind turbine, so that the machines would be indirectly wind driven; the compressor would collect a few days' worth of wind to provide a few minutes of power for a walking machine.
