Follow the money

As of a few months ago, some of the potential Republican 2012 presidential nominees being discussed were Jindal, Ensign, Sanford, Palin.

I'm wondering if somewhere Newt Gingrich is crossing names off a list and tapping his fingers together, saying "Ex-cellent."

(Gingrich, by the way, is a prolific Amazon reviewer.)

Palin's sudden resignation and Jindal merely having given a bad speech really aren't in the same category as Ensign and Sanford's train wrecks, of course. But I needed at least three for the joke.
